Windows 11 adds OOBE update option for enterprises

Windows 11 Adds OOBE Update Option for Enterprises Microsoft is giving enterprise IT admins more control over Windows 11 setup. Starting with version 22H2, devices that meet certain conditions can install quality updates during the out-of-box experience (OOBE). These updates focus on stability and bug fixes. To enable the feature, devices must be Entra-joined or hybrid-joined, managed with Intune, and use a Windows Autopilot Enrollment Status Page profile. The option is toggled in Intune under Enrollment Status Page settings. By default, new profiles allow updates, while existing ones do not. The benefit is simple: users log in for the first time on a freshly updated machine. Microsoft says other MDM tools with ESP profiles may also support the feature. #Microsoft #Windows #Windows11 #Windows10 #Windowslatest #update #oobe
