AFTS Heads to Addis for Its Latest Roadshow Ahead of AFTSACCRA25, Powered by Visa
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; 08 August 2025: As part of the lead-up to the 14th edition of AFTSACCRA25, the Africa Fintech Summit is pleased to announce that AFTS' East Africa roadshow & mixer is making its next stop in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on the 14th of August, 2025 in partnership with Visa, a global leader in digital payments. This roadshow and intimate mixer is designed to highlight and amplify the innovative Digital Identity leadership unlocking financial inclusion, showcase the opportunities for foreign banks in the financial industry space with the recent policy space shift, engage Addis’ emerging fintech and innovation ecosystem, featuring key voices from the AFTS, Visa & Ethiopian fintech and financial industry thought leaders.
Under the theme of “From Invisible to Included: The Fintech Access Tour – East Africa, Addis’ roadshow will have a discussion thread entitled “Unbanked No More – A Digital Identity & Financial Inclusion Success Story out of Africa” highlighting Ethiopia’s digital identity drive paving way to financial inclusion of millions of its citizens, what this means for the financial industry and the lessons thereof for Africa.
