The Canalys analysis shows that combined revenue for the global Tech Titans (18 leading technology vendors tracked by Canalys every quarter) fell by 5% in Q4 2022 – the first decline in a decade – while net income shrank by 19%.

Tablet shipments grew in Q4 2022 despite economic challenges

Worldwide PC and Tablet Market Report 2022

The latest Canalys data shows that worldwide PC (including tablet) shipments fell 21% year on year in Q4 2022, to 105.6 million units. This brought full-year 2022 PC and tablet shipments to 434.5 million units, a decline of 13% from 2021 when nearly half a billion devices were shipped

The #tablet market proved to be resilient in Q4, posting shipment growth of 1% to land at 42.3 million units. 2022 ended with a total of 150.8 million tablets shipped, down 5% from 2021. #Chromebook shipments hit 3.6 million units in Q4 2022, down 10% annually. This put full-year 2022 shipments at 17.7 million units, a hefty 48% decline from the highs of 2021.

Worldwide cloud service spending to grow by 23% in 2023

Worldwide cloud infrastructure in Q4 2022

Worldwide #cloud infrastructure services expenditure grew 23% year on year in Q4 2022 to reach US$65.8 billion, an increase of US$12.3 billion. For the full-year 2022, total cloud #infrastructure services spending grew 29% to US$247.1 billion, up from US$191.7 billion in 2021. The quarterly growth rate slowed, down over 10 percentage points from Q1 2022 (34% in Q1 2022 against 23% in Q4 2022). Rising public cloud costs, fueled by inflation, are forcing enterprise customers to optimize public cloud spending after constant IT investment in digital transformation over the past three years.

All day I speak with Channel Leaders eg CRN Channel Leaders list, Partner Professionals, CxO's etc, they are just "barely" starting to understand the power of Partner Ecosystems. They need to think longer term, yes Partner Ecosystems takes time. Or else, it will simply come back to haunt them. Educate in mass is essential.
