You can now self-activate US Payroll directly from the Deel platform after creating a new US entity. Just follow the purple banner prompt to launch the setup flow and unlock access to the Payroll Implementation Tracker—no manual intervention required.

Clients can now generate and download General Ledger (GL) Reports summarizing payroll transactions by account—streamlining reconciliation and reporting workflows.

Platform: Update background check logic for new CDD flow

Background check eligibility now adapts to your compliance configuration. If you're using the new CDD flow, eligibility is based on entity status—not outdated flags.

Global HRIS: Prevent self-assignment in I-9 flow

You can now bulk-cancel pending approvals—like work submissions or expenses—without triggering notifications. A simple way to clear out stale requests.

Global HRIS: Smarter org chart logic and visibility improvements

We’ve improved how worker data appears in org charts and search results:

  • Future-dated contracts are no longer marked as “Primary” by default
  • Terminated, rejected, or canceled contracts won’t appear as “Primary” unless no valid contracts exist
  • Workers with future start dates now show as upcoming direct reports
  • Org chart search now shows only active and upcoming workers

Global HRIS: Add policy risk flag to time off requests

Time off requests now display a warning when they may conflict with internal policy rules—helping approvers flag risks before approving.
