There is no clearer way I can say this: DO NOT do it!

Take these actions TODAY:

  • Purchased leads put you in front of the most distrusting prospects that exist. There are no "colder" leads than this. You will need a powerful follow up/ nurture system to move them along the funnel, and that's not cheap.
  • If you do this, the first impression is critical. You must dedicate high attention to creating an authentic digital presence that will ease their distrust right away.
  • Create a big "feeling burst" when you contact the lead. You can do this by sending them a high-energy intro video that puts them at ease. It should be personalized to them.
  • Being genuine on your website and social media, instead of appearing like every other advisor with the meaningless cliches and nonsense, can help to come across as human.

Look, lead generation services stink because the walls are so high. If you can avoid this, avoid this.
