Do You Really Know Your Coffee ?

A simple visit to the coffee shop can tell you everything you need to know about how many variants of coffee there are – you couldn’t count them all even if you tried.

There are so many different brews, beans, and types, that you probably won’t be able to taste them in one lifetime. But that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try.

There are so many brands that use same recipes but different coffee products to create a distinct taste that is associated with only that brand i.e. a Latte from Dunkin Donut will taste different then a Latte from McDonald's. Similarly a Cappuccino from Starbucks has no comparable product at Seattle's best Coffee.

Even if you have a favorite that you order again and again, still do you really know what is the composition of the first thing that keeps you going every morning ?

Here is an info graphic that attempts to help you understand how is your favorite drink composed by an expert Barista to ensure same taste every time and every where you go in the same brand franchise world.

Nice article, but man two important types of coffee are missing here: Arabic coffee and Turkish coffee. The Arabic coffee is 1) sugar free and 2) a true energy power source. Turkish coffee of course speaks on its own behalf! Looking forward to your second article that captures your findings about these two :-)

Dude, if you are coffee fan, you've got to try Kean coffee's Turkish latte. Unfortunately they only have 2 branches, both in SoCal near Irvine (Newport beach, CA & Tustin, CA). Some of my ex E/// colleagues and now VzW, AT&T & TMO friends will testify that it is THE BEST. This flavor is not available in other coffee chains. (Although more freely available in Europe, and of course specific restaurants). This message is not endorsed by "Kean coffee" and the writer assumes no liability of a backlash from other coffee chains. Although, I approve this message :-))
