Does God Exist? A Scientific Perspective

Last week, a friend asked me, "Does God exist or not? What do you think?"

I smiled and replied, "Before debating whether God exists, let’s first think scientifically about what would happen if God actually came to Earth."

The Science of Divine Presence

If God exists, He must be an immensely powerful being. But if such an infinite force were to enter a closed system like Earth, the system would collapse under the overwhelming energy.

"I don’t get it, bro!" my friend scratched his head.

I asked him, "Why do large dams suddenly break?"

He thought for a moment and answered, "If an unexpected and excessive amount of water comes in, the dam can't hold it, and it bursts."

I nodded, "Exactly! Earth, too, can handle only a limited amount of energy and order. If an all-powerful God were to come to Earth in full force, the entire system would collapse!"

So, if God were to descend to Earth, He would have to limit His power and come in a human form. But if He reduces His power, can He still be God?

And if He does arrive in a weakened form and performs some miracles, the entire system's natural balance would be disrupted.

Thus, even if God exists, He can only stand at a distance and watch.

If He tries to interfere, the consequences will be unpredictable and chaotic.

So, scientifically speaking, even if God exists, He is like a cricket fan watching a match from the balcony— He can only cheer but cannot change the game!

"Now tell me—does God exist or not?"

I asked my friend.

He thought deeply and then said, "All this time, I thought you were a religious person! When did you turn atheist?"

I laughed.

He continued, "You always talk about reading and learning… But have you read the Mahabharata?"

I nodded, "Yes."

"In the Mahabharata, Lord Krishna came to Earth to protect Dharma. Now, what do you have to say about that?" he challenged.

I smiled and asked, "Did Krishna use magic spells to instantly restore Dharma? Or did He live as a human, follow human laws, and protect Dharma through his actions?"

My friend hesitated.

"Well… that’s true… But still, He was God, right?"

I leaned in and whispered, "Maybe… but did He change fate? Did He break the system?"

My friend was silent.

I continued, "I read the Mahabharata with an open mind, questioning and analysing every event. And in doing so, I truly understood what Mahabharata was trying to say!"

"What do you mean?" my friend asked curiously.

"Everything I said earlier— about science, systems, and limitations— is nothing but the scientific interpretation of the Mahabharata!"

My friend was speechless.

I smiled and said, "Open your eyes and read with an open mind. If you blindly accept everything as sacred without questioning, you will spend your life painting walls in shades of saffron or black. But you will never truly understand."

"I still don’t get it, bro!" he said, scratching his head again.

I laughed and said, "You are not supposed to get it. That’s the essence of God!"

"Who said this? It sounds amazing!" he asked.

I smiled, "It was written by the poet of ‘Anbe Sivam’— the one known as the ‘Universal Hero’."

He jumped up excitedly and said, "I’m going to ask ChatGPT about this right now!"

Final Thought:

True understanding comes from questioning, not blind belief.
