EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE: BE AWARE OF THE IMPACT FOR THE COMPANY AND THE WORKER!

EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE: BE AWARE OF THE IMPACT FOR THE COMPANY AND THE WORKER!

We know that the labor market changes widely and that we need to adapt to new trends and requirements. A trend that has been growing and becoming essential to the success of companies is the excellence in the employee experience process, which in turn can be a challenge in the face of factors such as economic recesses and the employability rate.

What would the employee experience be? The entire experience of the worker during his/her time at the company, that is, interactions with the boss and the team, organizational environment and culture, impacts on physical and mental health, working conditions and safety, autonomy and opportunities for growth, feeling belonging, among others. The employee's experience has a direct impact on the success of your business, which involves productivity, retention, positive culture, quality of work, in addition to achieving good results.

Companies must be attentive throughout the chronological cycle of the employee's journey. Some important actions for this process are:

1-   Identify the company's values and culture to facilitate the employee's journey planning and recognize the ideal talents.

2-   Create a structured selection process, building a professional relationship of respect and transparency from the beginning.

3-   Develop and structure inbound and exit interviews to align expectations with employees, strengthen relations and collect data.

4-   Promote an environment of support, diversity, and inclusion, from the onboarding process, until the following months of working journey.

5-   Prepare structured feedbacks to ensure efficiency of processes and quality of the environment and work tools, as well as verify employee satisfaction, productivity, and engagement.

6-   Check the “Employee Value Proposition”, beyond remuneration, to attract, motivate and retain talents.

7-   Empower, engage, and develop employees, also providing them with opportunities for growth and career leverage.

8-   Prepare your leaders to be aware of and involved in the employee experience planning process.

Human capital is an important factor for the company's success and the employee's experience can be a determining factor in achieving positive results and increasing productivity.

People not only make up the company but represent its organizational culture and values. Planning the employee's experience will provide good working conditions and a harmonious environment that will consequently be responsible for employee motivation, engagement, and satisfaction.

It is a two-way street. If employee experience wouldn’t satisfy the talents, then they may be unproductive, drained, even they may leave. A thorough company culture needs to be developed to address all these aspects. You hit those points! ✅
