'High on Life' Game Jumps to the Small Screen with New Animated Show

The 2022 Video game, High on Life created by Squanch Games is set to receive its own animated comedy series adaptation.

Actor and comedian, JB Smoove is said to be producing the project, and is no stranger to the source material, having voiced a sentient weapon in the game that players can interact with. "[Squanch Games] invited me to join them in the gaming universe and now I'm helping them move into the TV world,".

While ‘High on Life’ doesn’t necessarily have the same popularity as some recent adaptations, its wild wit, charm and unique characters could be the driving force behind its success and could spell a future where lesser known titles are seen moving to our television screens.

Will you be watching the ‘High on Life’ animated series? What other titles do you think should get treated to an adaptation?

What a great idea! The game was incredibly well received by both Rick & Morty fans and newcomers. I remember when it was released on Xbox Game Pass; it set new engagement records on the platform.
