I will always love my Momma, she’s my favorite girl, from the cradle to my calling, she’s my guiding world. The lullabies she whispered still echo in my soul, Her spirit walks beside me as I journey toward my goal.

Though time took her too early, her love did not depart, It lives in Grandma’s laughter and beats within my heart. She kissed away the sorrow and held me through the storm, Her arms became my shelter, her bosom soft and warm.

Then came the aunties, friends, and queens who wore the crown, of mothering through moments when life had let me down. Each one poured out compassion, wrapped in grace and cheer, Their legacy uplifted me and dried each silent tear.

There’s the one who bore me, gave me name and breath and skin, And the many who restored me when I felt worn thin. The auntie’s prayer, the mentor’s glance, the elder’s open door, Each mother’s love expanded what one womb had made room for.

To mothers grieving children, your strength is heaven’s thread, Your tears have carved out rivers where angels softly tread. The ache is not forgotten, but peace attends your pain, Love flows through the memories that fall like gentle rain.

I honor those who mothered me though not by blood or name, They clothed my dreams in courage, igniting hope’s own flame. From Sunday shoes to college halls, they stood in loving pride, And cheered for every victory with arms stretched open wide.

So let this day remind us that motherhood is vast, A tapestry of tenderness that holds the present, past. It’s found in every woman who chose to lift and give, Who shaped a life with kindness, and taught a heart to live.

I will always love my Momma, though she's long from view, And every mom who mothered me—my skies turned clearer blue. Your love, a sacred offering, too infinite to roam— You built in me a shelter, you made this heart a home.
