I Don’t Have Remote Jobs, But I Can Teach You How to Find Them Yourself

Every single week, my inbox is full of DMs that look like this:

“Sumayiya, I need a remote job urgently.” “Please connect me to someone hiring.” “Any remote opportunity for me, please?”

And I get it.

I truly do.

We are living in tough times.

Many of us are jobless, some raising children, others trying to escape toxic workplaces, and most of us are searching for a dignified, flexible way to earn a living without losing ourselves in the process.

And remote work sounds like the perfect solution.

Work from home.

Get paid in dollars.

No transport stress.

Freedom to take care of your kids or sick parents.

But let me be completely honest with you:

I don’t have remote jobs to give. I am not an employer. I am not a recruiter. I don’t hold the key to some secret list of foreign companies looking to hire.

I wish I did.

But what I have is even more valuable, if you're willing to use it.

I Can Teach You How to Find Remote Work—Yourself.

Yes, you read that right.

I teach people (especially those with no experience, no tech background, and no prior exposure to remote jobs) how to:

✅ Understand what remote work really means

✅ Position themselves for international opportunities

✅ Create visibility online

✅ Apply for roles in a professional way

✅ And show up with skills that employers are actually looking for

I don’t teach theory.

I teach real, practical steps you can take even if all you have is a smartphone and a will to learn.

I do this because I’ve walked the hard road myself.

I have sat in the dark after applying to over 20 remote jobs and hearing nothing back.

I’ve stared at rejection emails wondering what I was doing wrong.

Had to balance motherhood, faith, and finding purpose without losing my mind or my future.

That’s why I started teaching instead of handing out.

Because truthfully, if I give you a job today and you don’t know how to keep it, how to communicate, or how to deliver, you’ll lose it.

But if I teach you how to search, how to position, how to communicate, how to grow your skills, you’ll never be jobless again.

So, What Exactly Can I Offer You?

Here’s what you get when you learn with me:

🟡 Clarity: We start by helping you figure out what you’re good at even if you think you’re not “skilled.”

🟡 Remote Job Training: I teach you how to craft a resume that makes sense for remote jobs. It’s not the same as the regular one.

🟡 Online Presence Setup: I show you how to make your LinkedIn or professional profile stand out, even if you’re starting from zero.

🟡 Application Strategies: You’ll learn where the real remote jobs are, how to find them, and what to write in your applications.

🟡 Communication Skills: I train you on how to communicate professionally via email, in interviews, and during onboarding.

🟡 Confidence: Yes, confidence. You’ll stop second-guessing yourself and start showing up boldly.

I take you from “I don’t know where to start” to “Now I can confidently apply and land interviews.”

That’s what I offer.

But here's what I don’t offer:

🚫 I don’t hand out jobs

🚫 I don’t work for a company that’s hiring

🚫 I don’t have a shortcut or magic link

You’ve Got to Decide

So if you’re constantly sending DMs asking for a job, stop for a moment.

Ask yourself:

“Have I even done the work of preparing myself for remote opportunities?”

Because honestly, even if I dropped a remote job link in your inbox right now… Would you be ready to apply for it and get selected?

Most people aren’t.

But the good news is: you can become ready if you decide to stop waiting and start learning.

The Hard Truth Nobody Wants to Hear

Remote jobs are not reserved for a special group of people.

They’re not just for tech bros, software engineers, or people with master’s degrees.

They’re for people who:

✅ Show up consistently

✅ Learn how the ecosystem works

✅ Put themselves out there

✅ And are willing to start small and grow fast

You can be one of them.

But only if you’re willing to move beyond the inbox and into the process.

Don’t Wait Until You’re Left Behind

A few months from now, those who started learning with me today will be on another level.

They’ll be applying confidently.

They’ll be getting interviews.

They’ll be getting paid for the value they bring.

They’ll be building a remote career that fits their life not the other way around.

You’ll either be among them, or still messaging strangers on LinkedIn hoping for a link.

Don’t miss the bus.

This is your sign to take action before another year goes by and you’re still stuck in the same place.

Here’s What To Do Next

Comment “I’m ready” below if you want to learn how to get started.

Or send me a DM if you’re serious and want to be part of the next training.

Someone in your network is silently struggling, hoping someone will speak the truth.

Because the truth is...

Opportunities don’t wait for those who are still waiting.

They come to those who prepare.

Let’s prepare, together.

This!! Every single word Sumayiya Nanyonjo. What you’re doing is incredibly important. You’re not just offering inspiration—you’re giving people the tools to become employable, resilient, and visible. That kind of empowerment lasts a lifetime. I especially loved this: “If I give you a job today and you don’t know how to keep it...you’ll lose it.” We need more honest conversations like this in our communities. Thank you for being a guide. The remote world isn’t reserved for the privileged few—it’s open to those willing to learn how to walk through the door.
