New Zealand international education sector maintains strong rebound
With 75,535 foreign student enrolments between Jan to Aug 2024, New Zealand’s international education sector recorded a 6% improvement versus 2023. It maintains a strong rebound, up 24% year-on-year, keeping the country on track for a full post-pandemic recovery by 2025. READ MORE.

📅 14 March – Murdoch University's application deadline for Rounds 1 and 2 of the May 2025 intake
📅 16 March – Closing date for class registration for Session 1, 2025 at Macquarie University
📅 21 March – Central Queensland University's closing date for Term 1, 2025
Scholarships
🏆 The University of Western Australia is offering its Global Excellence Scholarship for 2025 to high-achieving international students. The scholarship awards up to AU$48,000 over four years and postgraduate students up to AU$24,000 over two years for eligible courses.
🏆 Central Queensland University’s Live, Earn, Learn Scholarship is for international students who have received offers to study at their Rockhampton North campus in Term 1, 2025. Students get a 30% accommodation scholarship and engage in paid part-time work on campus or in the community.
🏆 TAFE Queensland’s South Bank campus is now accepting applications for the 2025 (HED001) Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Scholarship. Scholarship funds will be deducted from the final semester tuition fees.
🏆 New international student scholarships are available at Curtin University for eligible applicants starting from Semester 2, 2025. These include the John Curtin Global Excellence Scholarship, Curtin Global Merit Scholarship and Curtin Global Talent Scholarship.
🏆 JMC Academy International made a key change to its International Merit Scholarship. The fee reduction now applies to Trimesters 1 and 3, with additional reductions available from Trimester 4 onwards based on academic performance.

🔔 Deakin University’s next intake date for undergraduate and postgraduate courses is on 24 February (Trimester 1, 2025).
🔔 The Master of Information Technology course at the University of Western Australia offers two specialisations: Artificial Intelligence and Software Systems. These specialisations are designed to equip students with the expertise required to excel in these rapidly evolving technologies.
🔔 The 2026 Bachelor of Nursing (Enrolled Nurses) program across all Australian Catholic University campuses has reached its enrolment capacity.
🔔 Seats for the Bachelor of Human and Community Services (BHCS) and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECE) programs are available at Southern Cross Education Institute’s Adelaide campus.
🔔 International students at Charles Darwin University must pay the international fee rates for Higher Education.
🔔 The new Associate Degree Mechanical Engineering (117357K) course at TAFE South Australia is now available for January and July intakes and has a duration of four semesters with a total program fee of AU$40,270.
