Welcome back to Insurance Insights!
We’ve recently expanded our existing flood claims management at Davies North America by launching a specialised Flood Services Division to manage large scale claims across private and National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) flood claims. Leading the division is Jessica Chambliss, ANFI, AIC-M, a flood claims expert of 25 years. Her team will leverage tech and expertise to streamline the claims lifecycle whilst maintaining service excellence during critical events.
In other news, our Casualty team recently secured a significant legal victory defending a complex Part 20 claim following a tragic motorsport accident. The case involved challenging questions about driver visibility and pedestrian safety. Initial impressions proved misleading, but through targeted expert evidence and a clear litigation strategy, we achieved a fair resolution for our client.
Finally, meet Sonic 2.0 – the next evolution in credit hire automation. This upgrade breaks down traditional data silos by uniquely linking pre-litigation and litigation insights, giving insurers a competitive advantage.

On the 9th of July, we attended Insurance Post's British Insurance Awards as the official Record Player Sponsor 2025. It was a great evening at The Royal Albert Hall, where we enjoyed connecting with peers across the industry and offering them a chance to win some exciting prizes.
