January 2025 - CES 2025: AI matures and “unrolls” across Lenovo devices and solutions

Discussing technology solutions and innovation in January would be incomplete without a heavy focus on CES. Beyond the latest and greatest in consumer tech, the event is also a showcase for the future—especially how AI will infuse and transform our world. (And not just AI-powered sock-scooping robots.)

Lenovo unveiled a groundbreaking portfolio of AI-powered, personalized, productive, and protected solutions. Next-gen AI ThinkPads for professionals? Of course. An AI laptop with a rollable display evolving from bold concept to AI productivity powerhouse? Yep. A full gaming lineup, including a hand-held device running Steam OS? No doubt. And much more.

That run of devices is just part of delivering Smarter AI for all: We also advanced Lenovo AI Now, a powerful on-device personalized AI assistant built on Meta’s Llama 3 model, which offers natural language processing for tasks like document summarization, knowledge base retrieval, and workflow assistance. And Legion Space, Lenovo’s unified gaming platform, which harnesses AI to provide personalized gameplay analytics, content creation tools, and seamless device synchronization.

As Luca Rossi, President of our Intelligent Devices Group put it: “At Lenovo, we’re dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology to empower individuals, businesses, and gamers to achieve their full potential.”

Moving beyond the dazzling lights of CES and the Vegas strip, technology leaders must prioritize responsible, ethical innovation and operation. We’re happy to share that Lenovo was again included in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s (HRCF) 2025 Corporate Equality Index (CEI)—seven years running! We also received the Platinum Medal by EcoVadis, the leading global provider of business sustainability ratings, placing Lenovo in the top 1% of all companies rated. And we remain committed to transforming the challenges around AI and energy into long-term solutions.

Finally, we highly recommend the Life with Machines podcast, hosted by the excellent Baratunde Thurston. Join experts to explore all things AI: regulation, content creation, culture, and humanity. (Full transparency, Lenovo does sponsor the show. But we’d recommend it anyway. 😉)

Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out as I am currently enrolled in the Google IT Support and Cybersecurity Professional Certificates through Coursera. However, due to financial constraints, I am unable to afford a laptop to continue my studies. As a single mother and reliant on government social security aid, I’m working hard to improve my skills in IT, but my current situation prevents me from having the tools I need. I’m humbly asking if your organization could assist in any way, whether through donating a laptop or pointing me toward potential programs that support learners in my position. I’m dedicated to completing these courses, and your support could make a significant difference in my ability to succeed and improve my future employment prospects. Thank you for considering my request, and I truly appreciate any guidance or help you may provide.
