The letter about resonance
Hey you,
I’ve been receiving kind words lately. Things like: “Your content feels like a breath of fresh air in this over-marketed, over-advertised, foggy environment right now.”
And honestly? That means a lot. It makes me happy. It lifts the clouds a little. Of course my ego is flattered, who wouldn’t be? But that’s not why I’m writing. It's not about my ego.
I started these letters without a plan. No strategy deck. No engagement goals. Just a quiet need to write. To make sense of what I was feeling, thinking, navigating.
I write for myself first. Not to perform. Not to impress. But to stay close to something true.
If it resonates with someone else, then my job is done.
We’re constantly told to optimise. To package. To scale. But maybe what people are really looking for isn’t louder content. Maybe they’re just looking for something that feels real. Something that sounds like a person, not a brand.
That’s the power of resonance. It’s not about reach. It’s about connection. It doesn’t come from trying to be everything to everyone. It comes from saying something honest and letting the right people find it.
If you’ve written back, or just silently read along, thank you. You’ve reminded me that simple words still land. That there’s still space for sincerity. Even here. Especially here.
And if you're someone who’s trying to create in a world that keeps asking for more, just start with what’s true. Start with what’s yours. Let the resonance take care of the rest.

Stephane
