IS LIFE REALLY FRUSTRATING FOR THIS GENERATION??

The trend setters are in track stating the life frustrating. It has become one common word with this generation. Whatever small things that happen in life in the way opposite to their hopes makes them stressful and frustrating. A recent probe says 95 on 100 gets frustrated for some reason in their life. Is this the way people manifested decades before?

The teens are put in hardships just because of people who peeps in to their life and investigates as if they are a cop, what’s next? What is your aim? What is your 12th mark? Which college? Where are you placed? Are you going to pursue higher studies? Something, something. Why? What are they really going to gain by asking these sort? The world has already become extremely competitive and these things makes the younger ones more fragile.

The frustration starts from the family. People has become extremely selfish now-a-days. They certainly feel “Money is everything”. Especially the parents play a major role in this. They spoon feed these kind of thoughts in their children’s mind and make them rely on money. Finally the children forgets to think what they actually need and blindly goes behind money. When they don’t get that, they end up with frustration. Life is not all about money. Of-course money is important but only to an extent where you should be able to satisfy your needs.

The frustration also happens when the children are being forced by their parent’s interest. They don’t really get the freedom of taking their own decisions. Parents just push their children to get a degree. If I am interested to do mechanical engineering but I am supposed to do electrical engineering for my parents, I just do it for a sake since I have no other option. I someway study and pass all the semesters. But what is the possibility that I will shine with my reluctant degree?

The frustration of setting the career in final year is more horrible. There are only 3 sets of people. The people who knew what they want to do, the people who does for their parents and the people who don’t know what they actually need. The twist and turns for students starts when the placement begins. Determined are the ones who get placed first since their passion. People who does the degree for parents and attends campus suffers more. When their friends starts getting placed the real frustration begins for them. Even few students are psychologically affected by not being able to handle their stress. These people initially take a wrong decision of getting into any sort of company even with a low pay package just to get relieved from depression and finally regrets every day of their life. Few parents realise their fault while few blame their children as good for nothing. This third category is more interesting than the two other. Here few don’t want their degree itself, few don’t even want their core job in which they kept studying for past 3 years and few are still not sure on what they want. These set of people ponder about parents, society, and their passion and finally gets confused. The most disappointing part is very less people go on with their passion while most fall back helpless and does the loathing job. But forever their failure will taunt them.

Teens are frustrated for everything right from taking decisions, misunderstandings, love failures, inferiority complex, status and it just goes on. Dreams are left as dreams just because of the vulnerability on their ability. Atychiphobia is a real obstacle for people’s dream. It is important to see that, successful people don’t get the fortunes just like that, they take risks, they believe in their ability, they are determined and finally they reach their goals.

Society and criticism are like partners and attack us together. It leads to trauma and finally ends in affecting psychological well-being. Life is not all about money, society or others influence. It’s about being happy and getting satisfied in doing what you want.

We create days for everything. I wish “Frustration Day” doesn’t join this row. Challenges in life are really interesting but we think it’s frustrating by expecting. Let’s make life happy and free from frustration.

Thanks for reading! Have a great day!
