🔍 AI UPDATES WORTH YOUR TIME:   Understanding the rapidly evolving landscape of AI models can be daunting, especially with OpenAI’s expanding lineup like GPT-4.0, GPT-4.5, 03, 04 Mini, and Pro modes

Here is an easy-to-digest comparison table summarising the key features, typical use cases, and ideal users of various OpenAI models based on the detailed information provided:

GPT-4.0 is your everyday workhorse—perfect for general tasks like summarising meetings, drafting emails, proofreading, and handling multimodal inputs (images, audio, video). Its strength lies in versatility and speed, making it ideal for routine knowledge work across solopreneurs, SMBs, and enterprise employees alike.

GPT-4.5 excels at creative and externally-facing writing, from empathetic HR communications to polished marketing content and thought leadership posts. If quality, tone, and emotional intelligence matter—think customer apologies or brand voice localisation—4.5 is your go-to, especially for marketers and global CX teams.

For complex reasoning and strategic planning, the model named 03 stands out. It powers advanced multi-step analyses, risk assessments, financial forecasting, and long-form structured reports. This model acts like a true AI thought partner, delivering detailed, coherent outputs with charts and logical flow, ideal for tackling high-stakes decision-making and roadmap development.

OpenAI’s 04 Mini and 04 Mini High serve niche technical roles, optimised for fast coding fixes, STEM queries, and detailed scientific or data-centric tasks—mostly relevant to developers, data scientists, and technical teams, not everyday users.

Finally, 01 Pro Mode, primarily available in enterprise contexts, focuses on exhaustive reasoning with unmatched accuracy but at slower speeds. It’s best for lengthy, high-stakes documents such as regulatory filings, risk analyses, and compliance handbooks where precision outweighs turnaround time.

Summary Highlights:

  • Use GPT-4.0 for generalist tasks and multimodal work—your daily go-to.

  • Choose GPT-4.5 when writing quality and emotional nuance matter.

  • Turn to GPT-03 for deep thinking, strategy, and extensive, multi-step analyses.

  • The Mini models favour technical speed and accuracy, mainly for data and programming needs.

  • 01 Pro is ultra-precise and suited for slow, complex, high-value enterprise documents.

🏆 BUSINESS WINS WITH AI:  I have needed to create loads of presentations recently and although Gamma has been my go to in the past, I have upped the game a little and have started to use Genspark.    AMAZING!!   Here is an example step by step break down of how you can create your own presentations in just 20 mins, from idea to execution

Here’s a detailed, step-by-step guide with specific prompts you can use in each AI tool—GPT-4 (or Claude AI, if you have the paid version as sonnet 4 is the shiz) , and GenSpark—to create high quality presentations

Step 1: Generate a Custom Prompt for Your Presentation (Use GPT-4 or Claude AI)

Objective: Create a tailored, expert-backed prompt that structures your ideal presentation based on your specific need.

Prompt Example:

You are an expert marketing presentation strategist. Help me create a prompt that will generate a presentation deck. Step 1: Ask me to select the presentation type (e.g., product positioning, product launch, marketing strategy, executive update, sales enablement). Step 2: Based on my choice, identify 3-4 expert frameworks or thought leaders in this presentation type and extract their methodologies. Step 3: Create guiding principles derived from these experts and map them onto a slide-by-slide structure (12-slide format recommended). Step 4: Generate a detailed, ready-to-use prompt I can input into a presentation AI that includes specific instructions for incorporating my content and brand guidelines. Make sure the prompt results in a clear outline with expert best practices properly synthesised.

Action: Run this prompt in GPT-4 or Claude. You will get back a highly detailed prompt customised for your chosen presentation type.

Step 2: Collect or Generate Content with Deep Research (Use Claude AI or GPT-4 with integrations)

Objective: Assemble the deep research, customer insights, competitive analysis, and other contextual content needed for your deck.

Prompt Example for Claude AI with internal data or external web search:

You are my AI research assistant. Please conduct a detailed research project on [Company/Product Name], including: - Ideal customer profile - Customer problems and pain points - Value proposition and unique differentiation - Competitive landscape and category context - Proof points, social credibility, and case studies - Messaging architecture and narrative spine for a product launch Organise this information into a comprehensive report I can use to build a presentation.

Action: Claude AI will aggregate available information either from your internal systems (e.g., emails, CRM) or perform external research to generate a detailed report.

Step 3: Generate the Presentation Outline Based on the Expert Prompt and Research (Use GPT-4 or ChatGPT Canvas if available)

Objective: Use the expert prompt from Step 1 plus research from Step 2 to generate a slide-by-slide detailed presentation outline.

Prompt Example (Paste the custom expert prompt received in Step 1 and add research):

Using the following expert frameworks and guiding principles [paste frameworks/principles], and the following research data on [Product/Company], please create a 12-slide presentation outline. Each slide should have a title, main points, and notes on what content to include based on the research. Respect the brand style guide and aim for a 20-minute presentation (approx. 90 seconds per slide).

Action: The AI will generate a clear, expert-structured outline with recommendations and content scaffolding for each slide.

Step 4: Create the Full Deck with Slide Content and Design (Use GenSpark)

Objective: Turn the presentation outline and content into actual slide decks, styled and branded according to your brand guide.

Prompt or Input Steps in GenSpark:

  • Upload or input your brand style guide.

  • Paste the complete slide outline (from Step 3).

  • Provide any additional text or data you want included (e.g., metrics, quotes, examples).

  • Request GenSpark to generate slides for each outline point with clear text, visuals, and formatting consistent with the brand.

Example Instruction:

Create a slide deck based on the following outline and content, adhering to the [Company] brand style guide attached. Slides should include: - Clear slide titles - Concise bullet points summarising key ideas - Visual aids (charts, icons) illustrating data and concepts - Professional design consistent with brand fonts, colours, and imagery Please generate the entire 12-slide deck ready for final manual tweaks.

Action: GenSpark processes the input, creating a visually polished presentation that you can edit for final customisation.

Step 5: Edit, Polish, and Finalise Your Presentation

  • Review the output slides on GenSpark or your chosen editor.

  • Use GenSpark’s editing features to correct typos, adjust content, or modify design elements quickly.

  • Manually tweak narrative flow or data points to ensure accuracy and relevance.

  • Collaborate with your team for feedback and incorporate final changes.

By following these steps and using the respective AI prompts, you can automate the creation of effective, brand-consistent, and expert-backed presentations that accelerate your business communications dramatically.
