Meet Lachie: The Puppy, the Purpose, and the Parallel
Hello Purpose-seekers,
This week’s letter arrives with wagging tails and a full heart — because we’ve just welcomed a new member into our family.
Meet Lachie (I pronounce it Lucky 😉) — a beautiful, intelligent, 10-week-old German Shepherd puppy. Since arriving on Sunday, he’s brought chaos, cuddles, and joy… but also something deeper — a reminder of life’s simple, sacred truths.
For those who know me well, you’ll know I’ve always had a soft spot for German Shepherds. They’re loyal, sharp, and deeply intuitive — traits I value in both people and purpose. A friend once said, “Dogs reflect the energy and aspirations of their owners.” Whether that’s fact or philosophy, I smiled. Because I do believe something in their presence mirrors who we are — or who we’re becoming.
Since starting Puppy Yoga, I’ve witnessed firsthand the healing energy puppies bring to people: calm, connection, and emotional clarity. There’s something unfiltered and free in how they move through the world — playful, trusting, unapologetically themselves.
Truth be told, I didn’t expect to fall for the idea of owning a puppy. But as always, Allah places signs in our lives with perfect timing. When my husband suggested the name Lachie, it just felt right. Moments later, the breeder mentioned the address: Lockville. We smiled. It felt like more than coincidence. It felt aligned.
🐾 What Puppies Can Teach Us About Purpose
Watching Lachie settle in has reminded me of something profound — a truth I teach in Purposeek Coaching and through UNLOCK U AI , but hadn’t quite seen through this lens:
Every puppy is born with instinctive intelligence. A German Shepherd protects. A Border Collie works. A Golden Retriever nurtures. They don’t need to find their purpose — they live it. Unapologetically. Naturally. With joy.
But we humans? We’re born with gifts too — God-given talents. But somewhere along the way, we lose connection with them. We’re told to fit in. To perform. To conform. We trade instinct for pressure. And we wonder why we feel lost.
That’s why I built Unlock U AI — to help people do what puppies do so effortlessly: Live in alignment with their nature. Come back to their design. Remember what they were created to do.
💡 From Puppies to Purpose: A Reflection
This week, watching Lachie explore the world with curiosity, confidence, and no self-doubt… it struck me:
When we live according to how we’re designed, life becomes lighter. Not without struggle, but without inner conflict. Not perfect, but purposeful.
Maybe that’s why dogs bring us peace. They remind us of something we’ve forgotten: That life isn’t about proving yourself — it’s about being yourself. That success isn’t just external — it’s when your gifts meet your purpose.
