Summer's Over. Now It's Time to Build Momentum

Another summer is quickly coming to an end. Vacations and time away from work create hurdles when it comes to focusing our energy. I had some health challenges at the start of summer that served as a derailment, but also a reminder I need to focus on my body, mind and spirit. As a result, I did find myself slowing down more than usual, which was a healthy move. What's ironic about that is opportunities came forward when I wasn't putting massive pressure on myself. The lesson here is that it's okay to focus upon you. In fact, it's likely the best gift you can give yourself. And while you're taking off pressure, perhaps good things will find their way to you.

I'm grateful I was in a position to step back. However, as school is coming back in session for many families, it's tempting to linger in the slower pace, the relaxed routines, and the memories made over the last few months, BOSS Academy leaders know this is the moment to lean in, refocus, and finish the year strong

The transition out of summer marks a powerful opportunity. Fall isn't just a new season, it's a fresh start. A chance to realign with your goals, recharge your passion, and remind yourself why you do what you do. For me, my goal is to go into the remainder of the year with a renewed passion and focus that would have have come had I failed to give myself a break.

It's time to embrace the Three R's. Reflect. Reignite. Recommit.

Take a moment to reflect:

  • What did you accomplish so far this year?
  • What’s still on your list?
  • What goals were sidetracked, and what new ones have emerged?

One of the driving philosophies that defines being a BOSS Academy member is movement. We believe momentum is created by clarity + action. That means revisiting your “why,” tapping into your community for accountability, and making bold moves, no matter the season.

This is Your Season to Accelerate

We often think of "planting" and "harvesting" season when it comes to entrepreneurship. I used to think I was simply waiting for harvest season. What it all comes down to my actions? The final quarter isn’t a time to coast, it’s a chance to take action. Better yet, a time to accelerate. The seeds you plant now can yield results this year and set you up for a thriving start in 2026. Harvest season isn't something you wait for, it's something you rush toward because you've put the right plan in place and you're taking action.

Need inspiration? 🔸 Reconnect with fellow BOSS members who are pushing boundaries. 🔸 Tap into workshops, speaker events, and mastermind sessions. 🔸 Commit to taking at least one action each day that moves your business forward.

Let’s Move Together

You don’t have to do this alone. Become par of our family. At BOSS Academy, you're part of a community that thrives on shared wisdom, purposeful support, and unapologetic ambition. I'm better because I'm surrounded by inspiring leaders every day within our community.

Let this be the season you stop waiting and start building. The year isn’t over. If anything it’s just entering your most powerful phase.

Paul Kirch-- love the idea of reflecting and recommitting. There is a certain ebb and flow of energy as seasons change. I'm ready to embrace the momentum!
