Centrica Business Solutions to power Derbyshire manufacturer with bespoke solar farm

Centrica Business Solutions is installing a 1MW solar array consisting of 1,666 panels to help decarbonise the Carpenter Ltd Glossop manufacturing site. This array will have the capacity to produce 1,025 MWh of energy each year, which is 15% of the site’s total energy consumption – the equivalent of powering 380 homes.

Supporting Saint-Gobain Italy towards net zero

To support their ambitious carbon reduction targets, this multinational company installed Combined Heat and Power (CHP) at their facility in Termoli, Italy, saving 2000 tonnes of CO2- supported by Centrica Business Solutions, in partnership with Eni gas and electricity.
