Our team brought SECO innovation into the classroom with guest lectures at top Italian universities, while our headquarters hosted the Embedded Technical Partner Workshop — a hands-on experience for our global network.
Team spirit thrived both indoors and out, with friendly competitions and community events that brought energy across our offices — from soccer tables to beach volleyball and charity runs.
On the tech front, Clea is now natively supported on Raspberry Pi OS, and we’re helping companies get ready for RED compliance with scalable, secure IoT solutions. We also proudly joined Qualcomm at ACT 2025 and unveiled a groundbreaking Methane Detector developed with Snam S.p.A.
To top it off, we were honored to be named among the Sustainability Leaders 2025 — a recognition of our commitment to responsible innovation.

Alessandro Pali, Head of PCB Design and V&V at SECO, together with our colleagues Laura Fabbri - Team Leader RF IoT & Systems Modelling - and Lorenzo Forni - Senior Simulation Engineer - 📚 delivered engaging sessions at the University of L'Aquila and Politecnico di Milano, guiding students through PCB design, validation flows, signal integrity, and RF systems.

This month we welcomed partners and distributors from across the region to our Arezzo headquarters for a full-immersion experience.
Together with our Manager Channel EMEA Sales, Diethard Fent, and many SECO colleagues, we explored the full breadth of SECO innovation: from our x86 and ARM-based product portfolio 🧠, Clea OS and BIOS updates 🧬, to modular solutions, proprietary boards, boxed edge AI devices 🤖, and advanced HMI capabilities 🖥️.
Each session blended technical insight and hands-on interaction, creating an inspiring environment of mutual exchange and teamwork.

💥 This month at SECO, we went all in on Sports! ⚽
This May, our HR teams in both Italy and Germany brought the SECO spirit to life through a series of sports-driven initiatives that combined movement, team building, and community impact. 🏃♂️💙
In Hamburg, we kicked things off with the Silpion Kicker Cup 2025 ⚽ — a thrilling table soccer tournament held at the iconic Millerntor-Stadium. With custom SECO t-shirts, energetic rounds, and plenty of laughter, it was a day of team spirit, friendly rivalry, and unforgettable memories shared off the field.
Next up was the HafenCity Run 2025 🏁, where our Hamburg colleagues swapped the soccer tables for running shoes, joining a 4km charity race through the city. Each step helped support children and the elderly — turning collective movement into a powerful message of care and solidarity.
Meanwhile in Italy, the sun was shining and so were our people at the SECO Beach Volley Tournament 🏐🌴 — a lively mix of friendly competition and summer fun. With spikes, smiles, and a healthy dose of team energy, the tournament showcased how passion and collaboration go hand in hand — both on and off the court.

🤝 This month, SECO joined the Arrow Centralized Training 2025 at the Qualcomm booth, proudly contributing to their training program as a trusted partner.

🛰️ Methane Detector – SECO & Snam for real-time CH₄ leak detection 🔍
Together with Snam S.p.A., SECO developed a cutting-edge, software-defined IoT solution to detect methane leaks in real time using laser sensors and machine vision — with no manual intervention. 🔬
Built on modular industrial hardware and powered by SECO’s Clea platform 🧠, the system is ATEX Zone 2 and IP68 certified 🌧️, supports edge AI 🤖, and is already being field-tested.
This strategic project supports Snam S.p.A. ’s Net Zero Carbon goals, and anticipates upcoming EU regulations for continuous methane monitoring by 2025. 🇪🇺🗓️
