To US IBM'ers & US IBM Retirees

Hello US IBM'ers & US IBM Retirees. The IBM 2022 (for calendar year 2023) Employee Charitable Contribution Campaign (ECCC) started Monday October 3, 2022, and will run through Friday October 28, 2022.

Did you know US IBM'ers have contributed more than $1 billion since 1978 via the IBM Employee Charitable Contributions Campaign (ECCC)?

I am a Quarter Century former IBM'er based in South Florida. My son has type 1 diabetes and was originally diagnosed when he was 1.5 years old and is now working as a lawyer in South Florida. Most US IBM'ers & US IBM retirees are NOT aware that they can direct their 2022 (for calendar year 2023) ECCC payroll deduction to a specific IBM approved ECCC eligible organization in ANY US state and NOT just the US state where they live.

I have been active as a volunteer with the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF) in Miami/Hollywood FL for 25+ years and they are listed as an approved IBM ECCC organization in the 2022 IBM ECCC campaign for organizations in the state of Florida for donations from IBM'ers in ANY US state.

The Diabetes Research Institute houses teams of scientists, engineers, and clinicians with the expertise required to tackle diabetes from many angles. This integration of medicine and technology drives the vision behind the DRI strategy, a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to cure diabetes. The strategy builds upon decades of cure-focused research and addresses the major challenges that stand in the way of a biological cure.

Any US IBM'ers & US IBM retirees in ANY state can direct their payroll deduction to any IBM ECCC eligible listed organization in any OTHER state. You don't have to direct your payroll deduction/contribution to an organization ONLY in the state you currently reside.

To date, IBM'ers around the US and in South Florida have graciously donated over $550,000. Thank you for your support!
