Well... that's Questionable.
“Ask better questions to lead a better life”
I’m a firm believer of the above, better questions lead to better perspective, a better perspective opens us up to the right opportunities and helps us fix long standing problems and with day 11 of 365 upon us, now is the time to recap on our commitments & goals for the year and ask ourselves, “Have I asked the right questions?”
Here are some that have helped me and those close to me, tremendously.
What is it that I want? while deceptively simple on the surface, this question is quite possibility the most meaningful question we could ask ourselves, typically it takes a bunch of “whys” before we get to the core of what we actually want, it’s there that we find the core emotion, excitement & experience that we crave and truly care about.
What are the key results needed? This helps us narrow down on the things that we need to do to achieve what it is that we actually want, you always want to arrive at an actionable answer that you can move into effect immediately.
Have I formed an actionable action plan? This is where we take our goals and commit them to action, this is where we take our key results and write down the steps that we need to go through to start achieving them, for example, if going to the gym 4 times a week is a key result then getting a gym membership, exercise plan, nutrition plan & accountability partner would form our action plan.
I hope that the above is helpful, for anyone keen to see my action plan template, reply with "action plan" in the comments & I'll send it over.
Have an awesome day!,
