What It’s Like Working With Me (And Who I Work Best With)

Most people think financial advisors are all the same. Some pitch insurance. Some sell investments. Some offer estate planning.

I do all of the above — but only after we’ve done the work of diagnosis. I prefer to make recommendations based on actual diagnosis based on facts and data - rather than feelings or assumptions, or jumping straight to any products. After all, we're in the business of advisory, not simply sales.

Giving advice without proper analysis isn’t planning. It’s malpractice.

As a Financial Advisor Representative, I’m not tied to any insurer, bank, or fund house. I work with:

🔎 Here’s what you can expect working with me:

✅ Appointment 1: Understanding & Defining Objectives

We begin by gathering information about your financial situation and life goals. First and foremost, we define your objectives of planning and quantify your life goals, such as retirement, housing purchase, wedding, insurance needs etc.

Inevitably, I'll ask some sensitive questions, which will be kept confidential. As much as I prefer not to probe into one's privacy, the quality of advice depends on the quality of information received. Therefore, if you need to rely on my recommendations, we require factual and accurate information about your finances, such as income, CPF, insurance policies etc. Of course, if you already know what you want, you are free to keep your info private.

Lastly, if you already have some insurance policies or investments that you have done up, I'll do up a complete summary for you as seen in the photo here:

Portfolio Summary Sample: so that you know what you have, and you have a clear treasure map upon any need for claims. This can supplement your Schedule of Assets in your Will.

✅ Appointment 2: Financial Analysis + Recommendations

After going through your data, I’ll run your data through the WealthTrack Blueprint, a planning model I built over 3 years to:

  • Project CPF & cash flows

  • Analyse investment allocation, weighted returns, mortgage affordability

  • Track financial ratios & goal timelines

So that you know if your retirement or housing goals are on track. You’ll know how much house you can afford - and when can you do so. You’ll see if your cash flow can support your ideal lifestyle.

With these analysis, we'll come out with recommendations, which we will discuss and tweak accordingly for you. Be it insurance, investments, loans, wills, trusts... we'll bridge the gap if it's necessary.

If all's good, we'll implement the policies for you. All signings and documentations are fully digital, so we can do so conveniently even via video-conferencing or email.

✅ Appointment 3: Post-Implementation Matters & Monitoring

After implementing the financial portfolios, we'll update your Insurance Portfolio Summary - and your Schedule of Assets so that your beneficiaries and executors of your Will knows exactly where - and how to find you assets. Full documentation of what we implemented, and the purpose of each instruments used - will be given to you - so that there is continuity - should I be the unfortunate one to leave the world before you. Should there be a need to implement a Will, do up your insurance nominations or Lasting Power of Attorney, we'll facilitate it for you - and ensure information are relayed to relevant parties such as your Donee(s), Executor(s) and Beneficiaries.

For investments, there'll be quarterly updates or as and when required. All portfolios are digitall trackable as well, so you have real-time access to what's going on with your money.

Personally, I prefer not to call you yearly just to pitch something new - unless there’s real change in your life or needs. But if something changes, such as your family structure, income, health status or more? Just contact me anytime. If there's anything urgent, please drop me a call.

Should I not respond within 24 hours... I'm probably in the hospital, or no longer alive.


Who do I Work Best With?

I work best with professionals who:

  • Are aged 30–40 and earn $12k–$25k/month

  • Work in high-pressure fields like tech, law, consulting, or finance

  • Value clarity, control, and data

  • Are willing to be transparent with numbers so I can plan properly

  • Want to do things right the first time, not piece things together later


Who I Might Not Be Right For

If you're:

  • Looking for quick wins or magic shortcuts

  • Unwilling to share the necessary data for a proper plan

  • Just looking to compare product quotes

Then I'm probably not the right fit - and that’s okay. Nevertheless, always happy to make another friend.

My role is simple: rather than sales, my role is to give you clarity, realistic timelines, and a financial map so you can make confident decisions. I represent YOU - the client - and not any product provider. My main concern is to help YOU achieve your goals.
