What to Post When You Don’t Know What to Say

Let’s be honest... some days, you open LinkedIn and your brain says:

❌ “Be authentic.”

❌ “Add value.”

❌ “Start a conversation.”

And still… you’ve got nothing.

The good news? You don’t need a new idea every time you post. You just need the right angles.

Here are 4 post types that work especially well for insurance professionals:

1. Share a real conversation. “I was talking to a client the other day who asked me…”

This feels personal, relatable, and positions you as someone who solves problems.

2. Debunk a myth. “People think ____ matters in insurance. What really matters is ____.”

Myth-busting is great for thought leadership and gets people talking.

3. Show your process. “Here’s how I help a new client get from overwhelmed to clear in week one.”

This builds trust and gives people a reason to reach out.

4. Talk to the version of you from 2 years ago. “If I could tell my younger self one thing about personal branding, it would be…”

Reflective posts feel human and valuable.

You don’t need to reinvent the wheel. You just need to talk like a real person who knows what they’re doing.

That’s what builds trust. And trust builds business.
