What's your digital IQ?
The term “digital” has had a major transformation. In the past decade, we have seen the meaning of digital shift from just another way of saying “IT” to become an all-encompassing term to refer to emerging technology, the cloud, AI, IoT and more. PwC recently conducted a Digital IQ survey which examines how far organizations have come when it comes to technology, and what's needed to capitalize on these technologies now and in the future. But being prepared for and up-to-date with technology is not always easy. We found that many business leaders see these four things as the most common digital obstacles:
- Lack of properly skilled teams (63%)
- Outdated technologies (61%)
- Lack of integration of new and existing data and tech (59%)
- Inflexible or slow processes (42%)
Digital IQ is about people’s ability to adapt to change and utilize digital and emerging tech. How, then, can you consistently unlock value from digital investments in a rapidly advancing world? The answer is becoming clearer – the human experience.
