If HR isn’t doing this every single day, then they shouldn’t be in HR.

Time always proves me right I just have to wait it out and say “I told you so!” Because 5–7 years ago, I was already saying that employee engagement isn’t a thing but everyone is scared to be the first at doing things. Most love following others because it is safe. But safe doesn’t mean it is the right thing to do. We all know that the annual engagement survey is about as effective as taking one shower a year. Sure, technically you did it—but nobody wants to be around you afterward.
