When Their Trash Becomes My Treasure: The Story of Ms. Marki

When Their Trash Becomes My Treasure: The Story of Ms. Marki

There’s a certain brand of leader...especially in the influencer space, who believes they are the center of the universe. The sun, the moon, and the ring light orbit around them. Their captions scream authenticity, but their actions whisper something else entirely. They build empires on perfectly curated vulnerability, but when it comes to real human connection? Ghost mode.

And that’s how I found Marki. Or rather, that’s how Marki found herself suddenly available. Cast aside by a string of self-absorbed bosses, people so desperate to be the brightest stars that they forgot the one golden rule of success: You’re only as good as the people who stand beside you.

So, what happens when you throw away someone brilliant, loyal, and talented? Someone who is not only wildly creative but also unshakably real? Someone with the rare ability to both dream and execute?

Simple. Someone else scoops them up. Someone like me.

The Ghosting That Changed Everything

I don’t know the full story, and frankly, I don’t need to. Marki was the right hand to people who, for reasons unknown, cut her loose without so much as a goodbye. No closure. No appreciation. Just silence.

Maybe it was insecurity. Maybe it was their need for total control. Maybe it was the inability to recognize the gift of true collaboration.

Whatever the reason, it was a mistake. A big one.

Because Marki is the real deal.

She is honest. She is original. She is the kind of creative mind that doesn’t just follow trends—she makes them. She isn’t interested in perfection; she’s interested in authenticity. She doesn’t chase the algorithm; she chases impact.

And now, she’s working with me.

My Gain, Their Loss

I could talk about how lucky I am to have her (because I am).

I could talk about the work we’re creating together (because it’s amazing).

But the real story here is about value.

Marki wasn’t let go because she lacked talent. She wasn’t ghosted because she wasn’t good enough. She was cast aside because certain “leaders”...especially those who prioritize image over integrity, often can’t stand to share the light.

And that makes me wonder: How many other Markis are out there, dismissed, overlooked, undervalued because someone in power couldn’t handle their brilliance? How many visionaries are working in the shadows because the people above them are too insecure to lift them up?

A Thank You Letter to the Ones Who Let Her Go

To every boss who failed to see Marki’s worth:

Thank you.

Thank you for not recognizing her value. Thank you for being short-sighted. Thank you for making the mistake of thinking you could do it all alone.

Because now, I get to work with her. And together, we are building something real. Something meaningful. Something that isn’t just about looking good online but about creating something that lasts.

Marki is proof that talent always finds a way. That loyalty still matters. That authenticity wins in the end.

And I, for one, am grateful every single day that I get to work with her.
