Why Ideas Circulate..
Ever wonder how many ideas your brain generates in a day?
Too many to count.
My mind is overrun with ideas. So much so that it creates a blockade in my productivity work flow. I believe most people—especially those with an ambition to do great things—suffer a similar fate.
The issue is execution. The structured application of ideas in a coordinated effort.
Feeling pent up does not come from a lack of ideas, rather from undisciplined execution.
Executing ideas is where the magic happens. From thought to reality.
The mind is a cornucopia; an ever-flowing wealth of creative inspiration. Without caring for the system, without a process to release creative spirit, of course you'd feel pent up. The machine is jammed stuck! It's congested and overwhelmed.
Ideas circulate until they are realized.
We all forget things. Facts, names, and key information, but ideas... they loom in the mind as subconscious afterthoughts. It was generated from within. Inspired by the world around you. And so its left an imprint.
It does not get cleared away so easily; not unless the creative engine produces tangible result.
Here's the key: Ideas can be made tangible, and more often than not, they should.
If you're questioning the how, the mind has a will to make it happen and its better to trust it than bound it in realism and what's "possible".
Sometimes we just need to start with what we have. Outlets of creativity are key.
It'll put the ideas into a frame of existence that can be manipulated in the real world. Suddenly, what was clattering away inside your head is output as a crude, unrefined draft.
Imperfection is annoying but letting ideas cram your skull in perpetuity might just leave you with less inspiration than if you had no ideas at all.
TLDR: Don't kill your creativity. Let it thrive and see where it takes you.
