Why Join Talent??

Starting something new is supposed to be daunting and nervewracking.....I didnt get that when I accepted the job at Join Talent...at all. I am delighted, I was and am inspired, I am over the moon, but I was also acutely aware that I am joining a business that already had positioned themselves to take significant market share from the traditional larger RPO players as well as the competitors who were also offering a similar type of solution. So why did I join Join Talent and what is the goal?

Like any good journey, this one started a few years back, I met the CEO Katrina a few years back and had heard of Co-Founder Kevin through his gamechanging work at IBM. These were some heavy hitters. I have to say, at first I didnt appreciate the nuance and sophistication of what they were offering to customers, it was only when I watched on, I understood that finally the customer was being put at the heart of the Talent Acquisition offering. No cookie cutter solutions, no 5 year contracts, no forced ATS systems, this was cutting edge stuff and what happened....well I watched the business double in size.....every few months, and not with any Tom, Dick or Harry (sorry chaps) but with diverse, brilliant, experienced recruiters, some who I had personally worked with and could vouch for their talent. They gave these brilliant people tools that no competitor could access and I was smitten.

My own personal philosophy is to work with Brilliant people and do Brilliant work, when Kat and Kevin articulated their vision for the company, it was bold, it was agressive, it was challenging - build a business that is global in scale, that offers our customers the best solution to scale up their businesses and hire, retain and grow the business to over 100m in the next 3 years it was hard not to say that this wasnt doing brilliant work with brilliant people.

So now about the big audacious goals over the next few years.....Im determined to work with these brilliant people and help scale our business (and it is ours, everyone in JT is part of the family) internationally across the US, Middle East and APAC region, I want JT to help brilliant businesses who I know are struggling to attract talent scale up and get market advantage over competitors. I want JT to work with the best people both customers and our own staff, I want JT to be globally renowned for being THE go-to business for outsourced talent acquisiton, whether its working alongside an already established TA function or providing that service. I always beleive in the proces and this time its Brilliant people + Brilliant solution + Massive Ambition = World Class Business.

So, there you have it, its why I joined Join Talent....No brainer really.
