Are you putting any parts of your life on hold? What is one area of your life you have been putting off / avoiding? Uncover it & start working on it.

We often have a long list of things we want to have in our lives before we think we’ll be ready for the main thing we want. As an example, many people say that they don’t want to be married until they earn “x” dollars. Others say that they want to own a home before having children. We may state that we don’t want to meet the “right” person for us until we are done with school, have been single for “x” years or some other variation of these thoughts.

What we are doing here is like driving down a street, wanting to get to the end, pulling over towards the middle of the street, setting up a bunch of road blocks for ourselves, and then waiting for the roadblocks to “auto-magically” disappear. We do this time and time again to ourselves. We know what we want our ultimate destiny to be, but we have 10 other things that we care much less about that we want in place first.

Most of the time, those obstacles we put in our own way are things that society at large says should be there.

Let go of these self-imposed restrictions on your happiness Are you really going to turn down the right guy or girl when they come into your life because you haven’t reached your goal of going on dates with 50 people? Are you going to put off a marriage you really want to be a part of because your salary isn’t where you want it to be? 

These types of “needs” get in the way of what you really want for yourself. In a way, you are putting your life on hold until other things are present in it. That is not keeping with living in the present.

Let go and flow. It is the only way to live completely for today.
