Teams from Kajima Partnerships Limited, Genr8 Kajima Regeneration and Newcastle University took a tour of the partners’ in-development and completed regeneration schemes in Newcastle. The Health Innovation Neighbourhood, a joint venture between GKRL and Newcastle University, is progressing well with demolition works well underway. Plots in Phase One are now ground-ready for development. The 29-acre scheme will deliver a world-class neighbourhood for research and innovation in health, living and ageing. Newcastle Helix continues to expand, with new developments in planning. The site brings together a community of industry leaders, businesses, and top researchers in an internationally renowned innovation community. Including The Biosphere, a fit-for-purpose laboratory and office building dedicated to life science innovation, research, development, and commercialisation; Legal & General’s Lumen and Spark office buildings; and Newcastle University’s 750-seat Frederick Douglass Centre auditorium. These visits offered a valuable opportunity to share insights, celebrate progress, and strengthen collaboration across our joint regeneration ambitions. It’s great to see how these developments are shaping Newcastle, creating places that support innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth. #Regeneration #Innovation #Partnership

Springfield Village is more than a £300m regeneration project; it's a powerful example of how surplus NHS land can be transformed into a vibrant, inclusive community. 📰 Read the latest feature on Springfield Village by Akanksha Soni in Estates Gazette: https://lnkd.in/dV7vReeu With 1,200+ homes, state-of-the-art mental health facilities, and London's largest new public park since the 2012 Olympics, it's a model for future urban development. Delivered through a joint venture between Kajima Partnerships and Sir Robert McAlpine Capital Ventures, this initiative aligns estate modernisation with public health goals and long-term urban planning. 👉 For NHS Trusts: a pathway to developing projects without waiting for central capital. 👉 For developers and investors: proof that public-private partnerships can unlock lasting value and social impact. "Springfield Village shows what's possible when public needs and Trust expertise are met with private sector experience and a joint long-term vision." Says Richard Coe, Development Director. “Modern healthcare, affordable housing and green space – all woven together. It’s a considered approach to mixed-use development.” Said Harriet Gladwell-Phillips, project lead for STEP. "Be amazed by the buildings," said Ian Garlington, Better Communities Programme Director at South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust. "But think too about what they're enabling – better connections, fewer barriers and a future where the built environment actively contributes to wellbeing." #SpringfieldVillage #SocialInfrastructure #PublicPrivatePartnership

We’re pleased to share the completion and energisation of the Mikołajki solar farm, now fully operational and contributing to PAD RES’s portfolio of 180 MW of fully completed renewable energy projects. This marks our most recently energised site in the PAD RES portfolio, following the MV projects and Sztum. Meanwhile, Stargard is progressing with its energisation tests underway. In addition to these milestones, several PAD RES projects have recently secured Contracts for Difference (CfDs), ensuring long-term revenue stability through government-backed agreements for a total capacity of more than 500 MW. This achievement further strengthens PAD RES’s role as a key player in Poland’s renewable energy transition. Kajima Partnerships, along with Griffin Capital Partners, is a majority shareholder in PAD RES, playing a leading role in Poland’s energy transition, with over 3 GW of renewable capacity under various stages of operation and development.

Our renewables JV with Low Carbon Alliance, Taiyo Power & Storage, has received planning permission for a 9MWp extension to the Moss Farm solar project in Sefton, Merseyside. Partly located on a former landfill the project exemplifies the sustainable repurposing of land with limited alternative uses. Enhancements such as hedgerow and meadow grassland planting will result in a biodiversity net gain of 133.85% for the site, which is planned to power over 6,000 homes.
