In my role as a Volunteer Core Leader, I'm responsible for planning and promoting events, managing registrations and waivers, welcoming volunteers, collecting event data, and writing post-event reports, among other tasks.

Having volunteered with CA State Parks for over 3 years, I can attest that it has strengthened my bond with the remarkable natural spaces in our state parks. Mentor and guide high-school and college students pursue their dreams, and empower them to find success in their career aspirations.

Provide individual support and mentoring services, and share resources to APIA (Asian & Pacific Islander American) Scholars to increase their chances of success in their education and help them build a strong foundation to advance their desired career.

Foster meaningful connections with the UCLA students and help them prepare for a successful career and bright future. Provide academic guidance, as well as personal and professional development advise. Review resumes and give feedback, participate in informational interviews, conduct mock interviews, offer guidance and support as needed towards their desired goals.

Provide strategic guidance and support for the South Asian ERG (Employee Resource Group) globally. Govern the process for measuring overall ERG effectiveness.
