A number of Gallo-Roman dwellings have been found in this commune. That at La Valette, located in 1965, was found to contain several hypocausts and a pool. The town alms-house (Hôpital hospice) has an important collection of Gallo-Roman stones that includes a milestone dedicated to Tetricus, two funerary stelae with carvings of people, a statue of Jupiter with a wheel, burial chests, etc.
