- 2. FADE IN: We descend upon our main actor walking through the hallway of his school, about to enter his class. In the hallway there will be multiple students also making there way to their next classes. The audience will be able to hear background chatter to show the busy hallway and a school environment. The audience will be able to hear a voice over during this scene explain who he is and whats going to happen. INT. SCHOOL HALL’S - DAY (12:30PM) MOSES (narrating the story) School… cant remember last time i came to this hell hole. MOSES I mean i enjoyed it for the most part, but there were the odd problems… As hes walking down the hallway he get shoved as other students walk by. MOSES My name is Moses Fletcher and I’m seventeen years old. MOSES Apart from the fact that my mothers gone i am a ordinary student. MOSES I have exceptional grades and I'm ahead of my classes so I've got more time on my hand than i can handle. MOSES So basically… My life is boring. MOSES Until the day I found the demise letter… INT. ICT CLASSROOM - DAY (1:00PM) Actor enter his class and logs onto a computer ready for the lesson ahead. When the screen finally turns on, there is already a website displayed on the computer screen.
- 3. .2 The actor stares curiously at the screen. Wanting to know more he studies the website. The actor reads out what the website says in his head so he doesn't cause suspicion. MOSES “The demise letter”… MOSES Smiling What a joke, what kind of name is that? The actor continues to read on. MOSES “How to use It” MOSES “The person’s name that is typed into this search bar will die” Flashback: The actor has a flashback of his mother and his family and how good it was before her death. And then he has flashback after her death. Memories of him and his father growing away from each other, having arguments. EXT. STREET - DAY (5:00PM) Actor is walking home. MOSES There must be something wrong with me to even consider using that website. INT. MOSES HOUSE - NIGHT (8:00PM) The actor is sitting in his room on his computer doing school work and then remembers the website. The actor opens up a new tab writing in the name of this website and carry’s on reading the rules of the demise letter. MOSES “You must have the person’s name and face in your mind so no other human will get mixed up in you plot”. MOSES So i type a name in this search bar and a person dies.
- 4. .3 Once again the actor thinks of the person who killed his mother and decides to try it out. So the actor starts to type the name of his mothers killer and waits. The actor starts to second guess himself and thinks what is he doing. He turns his computer off and starts to watch tv. Later that night, while watching tv, a short clip of the news pops up and shows Moses that the website actually works. Amazed and shocked by what this website can he starts to laugh. Short laugh. MOSES Laughing (short) Hahahahahahahahaha… A few weeks have gone by and moses has continued to type names down which he thinks deserves retribution. INT. ICT CLASSROOM - DAY (1:00PM) A new actor gets introduced in this scene. Moses is sitting down at his usual seat in class. Rebecca walks into class late and goes to sit next to Moses Leaning over to put her bags down on the floor she sees moses on the website and starts to get curious. REBECCA Whatcha doin? MOSES Nothing Trying to hide it Moses quickly changes tabs on the computer screen. REBECCA Come on. Ive seen you on that website for the past few weeks and your trying to say nothin. Rebecca reaches for the computer mouse and moses tries to stop her causing a ruckus in class. TEACHER Moses, Rebecca quieten down After being told to stop moses figures that the only way this is going to stop is if he tells her what it is and what hes been doing. MOSES Meet me at my house and i will tell you everything.
- 5. .4 The bell goes moses instantly leaves, stopping Rebecca from asking more question We are outside of moses’s house and seeing Rebecca ringing the doorbell. Moses opens the door and invites Rebecca in. Leading her to his room. Moses shuts the door behind them and starts to explain what’s been going on. INT. MOSES BEDROOM - NIGHT (7:00PM) MOSES OK. This website kills people. Rebecca pissed thinking that its not true starts to walk towards the door. MOSES Ok. wait, wait Just listen. MOSES I type someones name into the search bar and they die MOSES I know it sounds stupid. REBECCA Your not kidding. In the background of Rebecca and moses speaking the tv is on playing the news. On the news there is a place chase going on. Moses notices it and shows Rebecca the power of the website. MOSES Watch. Moses writes the runners name into the website. Watching the tv, the chase suddenly ends with the runners death. Amazed with what it can do Rebecca Realises the potential and joins in but going to the next level. A couple weeks later She starts to kill hole groups of people at once causing suspicion with the police. Fearing being caught moses starts to worry and confronts Rebecca. INT. MOSES BEDROOM - NIGHT (9:30PM) MOSES We should stop. REBECCA Why? we've done so much. We've saved lives.
- 6. .5 MOSES Well at least slow down. Just until this thing with the cops dies down. REBECCA But we are helping people MOSES Shouts And KILLING more. Upset with how moses is reacting Rebecca decides to leave. After Rebecca has left Moses sits in the same spot for a couple of minutes, thinking of ways to undo his wrong doings, he plans on stopping Rebecca. A few days later, moses has finally written Rebecca’s death. The day has finally come for his plan. Moses decides to meet Rebecca at the park, each having their own plan on stopping each other. EXT. PARK - DAY (2:00PM) Rebecca is sitting down on a swing while Moses walks towards her. Sitting on the swing next to her Moses starts to talk. MOSES Long time no see… MOSES Ive been thinking about what you said and i think overreacted a little. REBECCA ‘A Little’ Are you kidding me! REBECCA You basically threw all the fun that we had back in my face. MOSES Ok, I'm sorry if it seemed like that but i was only trying to protect us. REBECCA Really? MOSES Of course, like you said we were having so much fun, i just didn't want it to stop.
- 7. .6 After 30 minutes of speaking moses realises his plan is finally staring to take effect. Having second thoughts on going through with his plan he tries to change the way it ends but theres nothing he can do, everything he tries, something stops him. Walking out of the park Rebecca and Moses are right next to a main road. while walking down the street Moses finally sees the end of his plan coming towards them. Flashback: The audience gets to see Moses write Rebecca’s name down and how she dies. “Hit by a truck while crossing road” Cuts back to present day. They reach a crossing. Moses sees the truck coming towards them. Rebecca steps out onto the crossing. Moses tries to stop her MOSES Shouts WAIT! Moses reaches out for Rebecca, trying to stop her. Just as the audience is about to see what happens the screen cuts to black leaving the audience to speculate on what happened to Rebecca and moses.
