She was working under my supervision as manufacturing engineering intern from the month of June to October 2015. Throughout her tenure at Parker PGI, Aylar has demonstrated excellent work ethic which was reflected in the final results of all of her work assignments. She consistently met, if not beat, every deadline that she had, and continued to provide assistance to the manufacturing group to ensure no interruption to the daily production. Aylar was chosen for this position (out of the 100+ applications that we received) due to her strong educational and professional background that she showcased during the rigorous interview process. She demonstrated good knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean concepts, process improvement techniques, and project management skills through her background as an industrial engineer. Moreover, she continuously sought after new skills and knowledge as she dealt with the day to day operational challenges in this manufacturing facility. With her natural people skill, she was able to masterfully navigate through the challenges of dealing with different types of personalities that exist whether you are in the office or in the shops area.
