Responsibilities included the overall Management of the vessels and all responsibilities of DPA & CSO as per ISM Code. Arranged STS operation with STS provider, Bunkering and crewing of our vessels. 2) Marine Superintendent: From Sep 2010 to Feb 2013 worked with Selandia ship management (Mumbai).Management had 45 Chemical tankers and 6 Gas Carrier.
- 2. Responsibilities included Pre Vetting, Pre CDI inspections, Training of the ship staff in safety and cargo matters. Incident investigation and report preparations 3) Master: Sailed as Master More than 28 Month( Actual sea service) on parcel carriers, crude tanker(Suezmax & Aframax) and dedicated Methanol carriers. Carried various cargos such as Benzene, Methanol, Ethanol, BA (Inhibited), Caustic Veg Oil, crude oil and CPP etc. Dealt with various Flag, Class issues, Cargo issues and navigation of the vessel all around the world. 4) Chief Officer: Sailed as Chief Officer on Crude/Prod & Chemical tankers for about 27 Months (Actual sea service). During service was In charge for all cargo operations, and cargo care, tank preparations for loading, tank cleaning, cargo grade changes, Tank washing (COW) and cargo loading/Unloading. Brief Experience details: 1 – 3 year experience as superintendent with Tankers. Conducted Internal audits, prevetting and pre CDI inspections for the fleet vessels. PSC, SIRE & Flag state inspection replies and closing. Approval of the plans from class and flag state, communication with various bodies involved with vessels. 2 - Have worked as chief officer and master for 12 month in US Gulf region on lightering vessel carried out about 50-60 STS operations on large size crude tankers. 3 – Have undergone many OCIMF (20-22) vetting inspection as chief officer and master. 4 - Have attended about 30 vetting(OCIMF SIRE) and 10 CDI inspections as attending superintendent. Total 2.5 year as Marine/Vetting superintendent. 5 – Experienced with many loss control surveyors and cargo surveyors during tenure as chief officer 6 – Experience of taking 2 new delivery of the vessels from HMD, Korea and 2 drydocking including drydock preparations on crude oil tankers. 7 - Experience in carrying out few incident investigation for ship Management Company using MSCAT from DNV. (These reports are not used for Legal cases only for training purpose) 8 – exp. In chemical tankers operations and have worked on a Parcel carrier and dedicated methanol carriers.
