Codefresh has introduced several new features including Docker build optimization, new triggers for pipeline execution, and SSO support for enterprise users. The updates include advanced caching for faster builds, the ability to trigger pipelines from Docker Hub, and the implementation of cron jobs for recurrent actions. Additionally, Codefresh now supports plugins for custom Git commands and entry points in freestyle steps.

- 5. Dramatic improvement in Docker build ● To every codefresh pipeline is attached Docker deamon to enable scalable docker build , now we added ability to keep the images build on it between pipeline executions so user gets a “local” daemon experience . It dramatically reduce build time

- 8. New Triggers ● Docker Hub push – Trigger a Codefresh pipeline when a new image is pushed to Docker Hub. Also works with labels. ● Cron jobs – now you can execute recurrent actions on given interval .

Codefresh Plugins ● Now you can override git clone step , the main motivation is : ○ Support custom git commands (submodule, clone with no history etc) ○ Skip clone step when it’s not required for use case , for example for deploy pipeline ● Support entry point in freestyle step . Till now when docker image was used in freestyle step the entrypoint was replaced with bash to support codefresh logic. Now we support an original entry point so you can just put argument to freestyle step rather scripting. Great when you want to use complete logic without need to script
- 17. SSO support ● Now as part of enterprise plan Codefresh supports coroporate SSO using OIDC(OpenID connect) or SAML2 protocols. Supported: (OAUTH2, SAML2)
