Confluent and AWS have had a successful partnership since 2006. Confluent Cloud, which provides Apache Kafka as a service, became available on AWS in 2017. In 2020, Confluent Cloud was added to the AWS Marketplace. This allows customers to procure Confluent Cloud through AWS billing. Confluent Cloud on AWS provides integrated solutions for data lake modernization, streaming analytics, hybrid cloud applications and more. It offers out-of-box integration with AWS services and a unified operations experience. Major customers like Instacart and Sainsbury's have leveraged Confluent Cloud on AWS to power their real-time data platforms.
