This document describes the design of a DTMF-based pick and place robot. The robot is intended to reduce manual labor and increase productivity in material handling applications. A team of four students will build the robot using wood, plastic, and steel materials. It will include a robotic arm, motors, a microcontroller, and a DTMF decoder to allow wireless control via phone keys. Design dimensions and a manufacturing process are outlined. The total estimated cost is 6,010 rupees.
