America violates Article 25 of the UDHR by not guaranteeing certain economic and social rights. To remedy this, America could ratify additional international treaties or pass domestic legislation to establish programs that ensure its citizens' basic standard of living and security in old age, sickness, employment injury, unemployment, and poverty. Overall, America needs to take steps to better protect and fulfill the economic and social rights of its people as outlined in the UDHR.
