Trypanosomes are parasitic flagellates that live in two hosts, an invertebrate and a vertebrate. They move using an undulating membrane and flagellum and feed via pinocytosis. They reproduce through longitudinal binary fission. Amoebas are amoeboid cells that move and feed using pseudopodia, have a single nucleus, and reproduce mainly through binary fission. Ciliates have cilia for locomotion, two types of nuclei, feed holozoically, and reproduce asexually through transverse binary fission or sexually through conjugation.
