The document describes the design and implementation of an embedded indoor intelligent temperature control system. The system aims to address shortcomings of traditional centralized heating systems which continuously heat both when people are present and absent, wasting heat. The new system includes temperature detectors, Zigbee wireless transmission, an ARM controller, information display and input, heating control, and GSM wireless communications. It can make real-time adjustments to indoor heating based on indoor and outdoor temperature changes and individual preferences to reduce heat consumption and improve quality of life.
