The IEEE VBIT Student Branch was established in 2011 to promote technical awareness and development among students in technology fields. It conducts various technical and non-technical activities, including workshops and seminars, aimed at enhancing members' skills and motivations towards careers in computing. The chapter has achieved significant success with various awards and unique events like 'Codex' that test problem-solving skills through algorithms.

INTRODUCTION Being successfully established on 16th July, 2011 in VBIT, of Hyderabad Section with nearly 20 members and 2 professional members, IEEE- VBIT SB Computer Society has been providing an excellent platform for the students to persevere their interests in the field of technology. The IEEE - VBIT SB , CS Chapter promotes technical awareness amongst its college students and helps to cultivate the same interest in the other colleges. The student Branch emphasizes on conducting activities which can develop the technical cognition of a student and also to foster leadership skills. 2 12/16/2016
- 4. ACTIVITIES We conduct many technical as well as non technical activities that are beneficial for the students. Few Technical Activities that are conducted: - 3D Printing - Android Development Workshop - Web Designing Workshop - Student Training Program - Codex 4 12/16/2016
- 5. ACTIVITIES(ContD.) Many Non- Technical events have taken place as well: - CS Awareness Program - Talk on Entrepreneurship - Talk on CS Chapter and its Benefits. OUTCOME: The purposes of the Society is to be scientific, literary, and educational in character. - 6. IMPACT It motivates the computer science and Information technology students to make computing as their profession. The Society promotes cooperation and exchange of technical information among its members and students. To discuss various technical papers, support lifelong professional education and certification, develop standards, provide technical and professional products and services. 6 12/16/2016

Keeping the technology in forefront, IEEE – VBIT SB Computer Society conducts various events and workshops providing an insight to the participants on Cutting Edge technology. - 9. unique story An event which is being done in a unique way: CODEX The students’ approach to problem solving is tested through algorithms. The shortlisted candidates are given tasks. On the whole, this event aids the students in analysing their technical capabilities, programming skills and provides them with a chance to improve further.
