This document summarizes research from BSI Intel on designing technology for wonderment. It discusses tools, applications, and things that matter. Specific projects explored urban atmospheres and encounters with strangers in public spaces. One project involved following a stranger, like a 1969 piece by Vito Acconci. Another examined exposing human traces across cities by observing trash cans and leaving lost postcards to create connections between individuals and communities. A further project looked at mapping personal patterns in another way to view communities. It questions whether community still exists as society becomes more mediated by networks and media.
