This study explores the innovation processes of mobile technologies, specifically mobile RFID, through an action research framework that emphasizes the complex interactions among manufacturers, organizational clients, and mobile workers. The research reveals unique challenges in mobile work environments, such as geographical distribution and differing motivations, and highlights the need for a normative interactive innovation framework to navigate these complexities. Ultimately, the findings suggest that effective innovation in mobile contexts requires understanding the distinct needs and interactions of various participants involved in the innovation process.
