Kate startedat the beginningof the season onJemsandimmediatelygotstuckintoherrole as stewardess/deckhand.She completedaverybusy summerseasonsonboard with100 days withguests onboard,42 chartering.Kate became anintegral memberof crew andas time wentby, we became very reliantuponherforher knowledgeof the interiorandexterior,whichensuredthe smoothoperationof the boat. Kate waspart of a bridge watchwhilstcruising.Withguestsonboard,she tookcare of the nightwatch,ensuringeveryone’ssafetyaswell aspreparingthe boatforthe nextday. Her initiative and workethic,alongwithherjovial demeanor isherbiggestasset. Kate was verywell likedandappreciated bythe owners,charterguestsandcontractorsalike. Her friendlysmile,personalityandgreatsense of humor,made herfitinwell withothercrew members. On behalf of M/Y JEMS, the owners, crew andmyself, Iwouldpersonallyliketothank Kate forbeingan excellentteammember.It iswithgreatreluctance thatI had to accept thatshe will notbe returningfor anotherseasonasshe wouldlike topursue otheravenuesinlife.
