Dear Prospective Employers
It was my great pleasure to work with Kelly Baca while planning a meeting for August, 2010. I first met Kelly in the late
spring of 2010 when she stopped by Cerexa to introduce herself and the Clift Hotel, as well as to gain an
understanding of my company’s needs for meeting space and accommodations. When I was asked to plan a meeting
for August 2010, I did not hesitate to contact Kelly and ask her to provide a proposal for consideration.
Thanks to Kelly’s diligence, the meeting was highly successful and we encountered no problems during the two days
that we spent at the Clift Hotel. One of my requirements was that the meeting room be available the late
afternoon/early evening the day prior to the start of the meeting so that our videographer could set up his equipment
as we were on a tight timeline the two days of the meeting. Kelly was able to ensure that we had access to the room,
and never blinked an eye at the request. I had requested proposals from other properties that were less than willing to
give access to the meeting room the day prior.
Kelly was always on top of the details that go along with meetings and helped to keep me on my deadlines and tasks
related to the meeting – always kindly and with a smile. If I had concerns, Kelly was always there to address them and
ensure that all would be done to ensure that my meeting was successful. Phone calls and e-mails were always
responded to promptly – something that sets the mind of any meeting planner at ease. I have worked with other sales
managers in the past who, although quite competent, did not instill the same confidence in me that Kelly did. I would
use the Clift Hotel again, due in large part to Kelly’s service and assistance.
Kelly’s positive, cheerful attitude – as well as her professional demeanor and great attention to detail – will make her a
valuable asset to any employer. It will be my great pleasure to be able to work with her for future meetings that I may
need to arrange.
