The armadillo describes living in a rainforest with its babies. It had to swim across a river by swallowing air to float. It took the babies longer but they all made it across. The armadillo then took its babies foraging for food, where they did well finding food on their own. However, human hunters pose a danger as they want to kill the armadillos for their shells and meat. The armadillo will fight if confronted but thinks it is safe for now, though may need to relocate if the hunters find its burrow. It then settles in for the night with its babies.
