1) Conduct an initial risk assessment to identify any hazards. Inform employees who are pregnant, breastfeeding or recently gave birth to notify you as early as possible.
2) If risks are identified, conduct a specific risk assessment. Remove risks if possible or adjust working conditions/hours.
3) If risks cannot be removed or hours adjusted, offer suitable alternative work or suspend the employee with pay for as long as necessary to protect their health. Monitor and review all actions regularly.
